    Hey Bebe!

Yes, not much fun doing it month after month and no bfp. My DH was leaving bedtime til really late and so I was wiped by the end of o week the last months we were bd before the last bfp!

We both know it's a means to an end. DH also knows that due to our pregnancies being high risk, we have been told not to bd - so it's his last chance for a looong time if it works! ie. I think it's now been 3 months since we bd'd! And the time dh really wanted to bd was when we were told to avoid at all costs...maybe reverse psychology would work!

We're doing it every day and a half, and he's got a sore throat (which he's kindly shared!!!), so is behaving like a grumpy petulant child!!!

And it's only our 2nd BD (cd12) of the cycle! I even told him last night we'd BD this morning, then he acts all shocked and annoyed!!! I said to him we'll never conceive a child like this, then he flipped the switch and BD'd!!! Not romantic! Like a transaction!!!

Clearly DH doesn't know how good he has it!!!
I'm due to O cd15 so not long to go.... Grrrrr So over TTC!!! Just want to do it for fun not at fertile windows!!!

    :-( sorry, vent over

You are not alone! I am at cd13, and we only had our first BD last night. Prior to this I had scheduled to do it, tried without letting DH know I was within my fertile window so that he didnt feel pressured, but he wasn't in the mood. So eventually I've had to put down the hard line and say if we don't get start BDing more another month is going to be wasted. It sounds horrible and its so much pressure, but without some pressure I feel that nothing is ever going to happen!

Ideally we need to BD again tonight, but DH says he needs a recovery day in between. Considering my cycle has been a bit irregular lately, I think I'm due to O in 2 days, so hopefully we get to BD once more without feeling like we have missed another opportunity this month.

I like the idea of lighting a candle and making it more romantic, I will do this. Sometimes I wish DH would initiate this sort of thing though! Damn these men haha. Good luck ladies!

Oh I know the feeling! I've done that too. Was reading up on aromatherapy for fertility yesterday (it's probably mumbo-jumbo, but hey, it's not going to hurt!) and I bought some massage oil today. DH is getting a massage with essential oils tonight. Now if that doesn't work, I don't know what will lol!

Hope your DH is cooperative tonight

Thanks ladies (@starsoid, @rebecca, @littleTed, @Nomie, and the other lovelies I can't recall your name(s)!!) for all your support.

Your kind words have been so appreciated today, which started bad with hubby & BD incident, and just got worse with a rude specialist doctor (unrelated to fertility) being an ***!!! I ended up crying when they suggested I could try taking a TTC break! Seriously, I wish some medical professionals would be a little more tactful and have better bedside manner! When they were the doctor to give medical approval to TTC, can't believe they would say that!

Grrrr... Anyhow, it's nice to know I'm not alone wishing this TTC journey was faster, easier, more enjoyable etc.

THANK YOU xox spreading lots of babydust to everyone!!! And hoping for more BFPs and sticky bubs for all :-)

    Ohhh bebe that sucks
some doctors need a slap in the face with some bedside manners thats for sure! You sound exactally like I did after my mc, a break wasnt even suggested, the $$$ of an ob told me DO NOT get pregnant, I was too overweight....and if I did get utd, he wouldnt see me because I was high risk...he was the only ob in town!

He also said I needed a no carb, dairy, fat or red meat diet.....
One test (glucose) came back abnormal so he put me on meds saying It would help with weight loss, and ovulation (but, once again, don't get pregnant)

I walked out in tears, and was so depressed for days... I decided he was too rude for my liking....
.Took the meds and altered my diet, hoping for weight loss ..... After that af I got my bfp with ds!
Fx you get your bfp soon!.....I know I was stupid going against a dr.... But I'm glad I did!

Afm, on the count down to testing! 2 weeks to go! Lol
