    Default Vitex ??

Hi guys I am wanting to start taking vitex to regulate my cycle and have gotten so much conflicting advice about doseage and how long to take it for. Does anyone have a good idea or is anyone a naturopath who may know. There seems to be differing views on what day to start taking it and if it should only be taken until ovulation.

    Anyone's advice is much appreciated

I tried it both all the way and to ovulation. To be honest past ovulation I had bad side effects, so next few cycles I only took to ovulation

If you have side effects you can try a different brand. Sometimes your body just needs to get used to it. Just wondering what factors are making you consider vitex?

Mainly to regulate my cycle and help promote ovulation. I'm pretty certain from opk's I have had a few cycles of not ovulating and the months I do my cycle is erratic. Thought i would give it a go and see how it goes, no side effects so far thankfully.

Good luck! Vitex didn't work for me. Be prepared to take it for a few months before seeing results.

I was on Vitex for about 6 months (may of been more i never really dated anything when i started and the last couple of years have been a blur) and was taking it right up until i found out i was pregnant, never had any side affects or anything, and was also taking siberian ginseng and took Tribulus for 3 months after reading up on natural ways to increase my progesterone etc with Pcos .
