Yep, we had a cat who was a feral we saved as a kitten. She liked my DH but not keen on cuddles from me....unless I was pregnant!!! Never left me alone.

Yes! It was highly amusing to watch as my belly got bigger & bigger! DS2 used to kick the cr@p outta her whilst he was in utero!

My cat loves sleeping on the bump.
    Weird isn't it?

I generally have to be within ear shot or sight of my cat. During my first try he wouldn't stop trying to sit on my belly, which was bad for me because I was really sick and my belly hurt lots. He got sick of being turfed off the couch he has taken to just sitting as close to me and touching my belly as possible without actually being on me. I actually have a dog that won't leave me alone as well. If I'm in the shower he will sit on the bath mat and wait for me, if I take to long the cat will come and check on me

My cat was a pain in the behind when I was pregnant! I have multiple photos of her curled up asleep inside my clothes! She'd climb under my top and poke her head out of the neck hole. As close to bub as possible.

She also hunts for me when I'm pregnant and looks genuinely devastated when I don't eat the rats she brings home for me. It's like she thinks she's the lead lioness and needs to hunt for the pride when I'm incapacitated while pregnant.

    Funny things these cats.

Both our dog and cat get funny when I pregnant. Right now our dog won't leave my side and cries if he can't sit closer enough.......I have a cold and due in 3 weeks so he knows I'm not well.....
