You should shampoo it out and then conditioner - not just rinse out with water.

I do this often on clean wet hair leave it in over night then wash out and it works great

Sorry to derail but those who have done it successfully would you mind giving a step by step of the process (how much used, how long left on hair, how you washed it out etc) I want to try it but don't want a bad result!

I put a small amount through the ends of my dry hair before bed, tying it up after. In the morning shampooed and conditioned my hair as normal - my hair felt lovely after this.
Although I must note I tried it again about a week later and it didn't work - my hair felt dry. I'm not sure what I did wrong? Maybe it was too soon after the first time.

I did mine on shampooed hair straight out of shower so wet hair then left on for a day. Did all my duties shopping and gym in it and rinsed it next day.. Then that felt dry and brittle so shamp and conditioned again and today still feels a bit gross so I have a treatment in now.

So don't do what I did!

I put mine all through my hair, tried to comb it but my hair is too crap, made sure it was thorough, then put a shower cap on through the night and didn't take it off til I was about to shower. I then showered and shampooed til it was completely out, I have frizzy, wavy, thick long hair so it took 5 really good goes, then I conditioned and left it to towel/air dry
