Hope you are on the mend Waiting. I cannot wait till this MS goes.

Have had a rather nasty 24 hrs was still sick before went to work yesterday and then kept being asked by one of the seniors if i was ok as i really didn't look myself. Won't be long I guess and can tell her that no she can't have all of March off as she planned to spend time with her new grand baby as I'll be on Maternity leave lol.

Anyhoo survived to lunch and had made a cup a soup as didn't want anything too exciting and still don't know how it happened but managed to knock the whole mug of boiling soup over myself burnt the inside of both thighs so went and got sympathy and went home at 2pm, Just as well I had a few witnesses and it didn't sound like a random story I was just making up. Spent last night resting on the lounge. Today i have 3 small blisters on each leg that look more like pimples but I know they are blisters and have the headache from hell and really bad chest pain again so just called in and said my legs were too sore to put on work pants as i just wanted to stay home. Am really hoping nothing comes of the chest pain but since i had my stroke about 6 years ago at high risk of clots, dvts or another stroke so have a few more weeks where it can be put down as normal part of first trimester before OB sends me off for scans to rule out anything sinister. Don't want to scare anyone at work and make them think I'm having a heart attack when I'm not it does feel like that some days though.

Oh no that sounds awful Wobbler. Hope the blisters go away asap and the chest pain isnt anything serious

Mumsical - Fx that little one is burrowing in nicely for the next 8 months

Well Im out of bed but only because I have to today I cannot believe how unwell Ive been, I dont ever remember being sick like this before. Went to drs on Sun, they said it was just a viral infection and just to ride it out. Well its now Wed and Im pretty much no better. Still fluey, achey and coughing my lungs up. Coughing is so bad Ive now hurt stomach muscles and my asthma is playing up. Im also getting mega BH after each coughing fit, which in the last 24-48 hours have started to turn painful and Im quite crampy so its all making me quite nervous. Off to the drs at 1pm them got appt with the OB to check bubs fluid levels and will be drilling her with questions...

Good news!! Bubs has been a complete leech the past week and despite me being so dehydrated fluid levels have gone back in the safe range (hooray!!!!)

They are concerned about my chest infection and my asthma so I have to start prednisolone tonight then Im of to the WCH Friday to have an asthma assessment done. If my asthma gets any worse in the meantime, I need to be admitted. The OB and the WCH specialist were gobsmacked that not only didnt either of the GPs Ive seen do a peak-flow assessment, but one of them today told me to STOP using my preventer. Thank GOD Ive got half a brain and didnt think that sounded right!
