Default Mummas and papas I need your help

Do you guys if you don't yet have any living babies, do you celebrate mothers and Father's Day? I opted out of Mother's Day as it had only been a month since angus passed but I'm unsure if I should be getting DH something for this weekend. I have ordered something but I was thinking of giving it to him another time for no reason maybe without the words Father's Day associated?

Ally I'm probably not much help as I've never been in your situation, but I followed your story and I think of Angus often.

All I can say is do whatever feels right for you, but I see no reason why you shouldn't celebrate mothers / Father's Day - you ARE a mother and your DH IS a father, you are the best parents Angus could ever have hoped for and that is something to be mighty proud of and to celebrate!.

Thinking of you on what is bound to be a bittersweet day xxxx

I think I'll be getting DH a card from me and just writing how much he has meant to me since losing Skye.. I mean he's always meant the world to me but even more now with the rock he's been...

DH wrote something lovely in a card for me on Mother's Day and signed Clem's name as well. I have asked him to always remember to sign her name when he buys Mother's Day cards for our subsequent children in the future.

I think I will definitely get him a card this year from Clem and myself and also because I am pregnant again. Not sure if I'll do a gift, I only realized today Father's Day is this Sunday-I thought it was next week!

Last year I was 8 weeks pregnant with Clem and happened to be at some random market with girlfriends and came across tiny little Geelong Cats socks and bought them for him as a little cheeky Father's Day gift.

We're still moms and dads even though our babies didn't get to stay with us.

Do what you think it best, if you think it will upset him if you do or don't do something.

Thanks girls! I got up some courage and just asked him. He said he'd like to do something if I wanted.

So I will get him a card and stuff
