I have some questions for you experienced charters!

Ok, firstly, my basal temp seems very low - ranging 35.4 to 35.9.. Anyone else low like that, does it mean anything? Also I am on my 4th day of positive opk do I am hoping I get some higher temps soon.. 4 days of positive is that a bit weird?
My cycles seem to gradually get longer and longer.. The last one was 62, prior to that 34 and 33.. So maybe I have a longer luteal phase.. Not sure..

If you are still with me, thank you!! My last question is for recommendations for good accurate basal thermometers? I have one but it seems to vary a bit so am after one that might be more consistent.

    Thanks heaps xx
Hey veggie I'm also in Melbourne and it is lovely today I'm just about to head out for a walk
I can't really help much with the temps but I can tell you that I got my therm from chemist warehouse it was about $20 and it has a pink tip the packaging says 'ovulation thermometer' and so far I've found it to be really good

@Vegielove - not sure if the lower temps mean anything.....you might find a difference with a new thermometer - one of the ladies on here had higher recorded temps once she changed.

Can you post a pic of your opks? This cycle I've had two positives, pretty sure tomorrow's will be neg. It just might be that you have a longer surge.

    Hope that helps!

Ooh and I'm the same as Joeeee - I bought my thermometer at....Good Price Chemist - under $20 and it had "ovulation thermometer" written on it....brand is bodicheck. I think some of the ladies on here have bought theirs online.

Hey Joeee, sensational weekend in Melby wasn't it! Hope you had a beautiful walk, thanks for the tip on the bbt, will check it out.. Mine was about $5 on eBay and I think in this case you get what you pay for....

Hi Littleduck I just had a naughty typo with your name! Lol! I have used clear blue and cheapie sticks, will post a couple of pics and my chart so far I am hoping for a neg and higher temp tomorrow.. Just trying to see what my cycles are like and hoping for some normalcy after discovering that every few months I seem to skip a period! Here goes.. First attempt at uploading pics:

    Teehee!

It's hard to miss that smiley face, isn't it?! I had thought of getting a digi but so far have had good results with the cheap dips.

Charting is so interesting....I had no idea what my body did (other than the obvious lol) before ttc

Yes the first time I saw it I was so excited for the rest of the day! I got a pack of 20 for about $60 online.. Will use them just here and there to verify the cheapies until I get to know my cycles more but I agree the cheapies do seem to work well, today's cheapie actually would be read as neg as the test line was fainter than control line, but I still got a smiley face.. The pic is from tests yesterday or Friday.

@Vegielove I used to have low temps like that until I changed thermometer.

Afm my crosshairs have gone dotted. About time as I'm cd80/21dpo it's the longest I've kept my crosshairs but I don't think I ovulated. I've already accepted that fact so I won't be devastated when ff removes them.

Hi all is it normal for temp to spike in luteal phase I did wake up a few times last night and took temp an hour earlier so it may not be exact.. Would this be what caused it?

It could just be because you took it at a different time (unfortunately it's very sensitive). But it could also be a surge in progesterone which could be a good thing too. Fx it's the latter for you
