I HIGHLY doubt that was keflex. I have hallucinated from Anti-B's too, but that was post surgery, from very, very strong ones.

OP Sinus infections are effing hell and I'd want them cleared up asap. They can spread to your brain (very rare but still happens), so take the anti-bs

Keflex give me the runs so I can't take it but I am currently on amoxil for sinus infection and because I left it for so long thinking it would clear I need to take them for about 4 weeks.

Sinus infections are hell and if you're bad enough to be prescribed antibiotics I would take them. I'm so over mine and the pain in my face/teeth and head.

I had my sinus infection for 2 months and then was prescribed amoxil.

I couldn't do it anymore, the constant pressure was giving me headaches. I just couldn't shake it.

This wad only a few weeks ago, so I guess I was around 13 weeks pregnant.

I had one when we were TTC and doctor gave me a script for cephlex and said if the pain got too much or started getting temps to get it filled. She said to let my body try first. It took two weeks for my body to fight it. I was pleasantly surprised as I don't have the best immune system. It would depend on how long you've had it, how much pain you're in and if you have temps, etc. Mine never got as painful as last time and no temps so I didn't get it filled. I think it usually gets worse before it gets better. Cephlex is known as a pregnancy-safe anti-b.

I took keflex a fair bit during both my pregnancies for sinus infections. I've been dealing with issues for years so I pretty much always have a sinus infection so I know the point where nothing else will help.

I recently got a medicated nasal spray that is amazing (even if it did cost $50), not sure if you could use somehting like that during pregnancy

I get them all the time too! I'm living in Germany and they won't prescribe antibiotics unless its really serious so I've been surviving off saline solutions. Stick with it! It takes about a week but it will get better, I absolutely swear by them!

I had the worst sinus infection during last pregnancy around 19 weeks and took ABs (amoxillicilan) and all was fine. There is no way I could have gone without them I was in pure agony and so sick. Still took a good week on ABs to clear up
