I had mine taken out last month and am now about 4-5 weeks pregnant. I could not believe how quickly it happened (but we are so excited!). I asked my Dr if there was increased risk of mc on the day of removal thinking we should use birth control for a while but she assuredly that there's no evidence to support that and to start trying. I spoke with her tonight when getting my beta hcg levels from test this morning and she mentioned that due to the falling so quickly after mirena removal there might be a risk of mc (contrary to previous advice!). Now I'm really anxious!

    Fingers crossed *sticky babydust*

To give you some hope. I too fell very quickly after removal. I gave birth to a very healthy 10lb6oz baby boy 9 days over due.

That's so good to hear! All going well so far. My first ultrasound is next week. I can't wait to hear that heartbeat!
