    Default Cost of living?

    Hi everyone!
Just wondering if you could shed some light on the cost of a few things up there for me?
    Daycare
    Groceries
    Fuel
    Electricity

We are looking at moving there but want to work out a mock budget
    Thanks!

    It is pretty expensive
Daycare i pay $350 per week
Groceries pay about $300 per week to feed a family of 4
Fuel is about $50 per week
Electricity we budget for $1100 for 3 months.

Costs a bucket to live here but i love it.

Weekly groceries: $250 for 4 of us
..but could easily spend more. (On a tight budget )

    Weekly petrol: $60

Electricity is approx $1000 per 3 months. But our last bill was only $700 and we weren't really that careful about what we were using..go figure lol

And we don't use day care but have heard it can be quite expensive

I don't know about daycare but groceries can vary depending on how well you can budget and if you're willing to cook and do some planning if I am careful we can do $120 a week for 2 adults a toddler and a dog if I'm not careful or need big ticket items (usually toiletries can be $$$) up $200+
Fuel again depends on what car you have and how much driving you do. I have a micra and use it mostly around our suburb, groceries going to the park or visiting friends I fill up once a month at $50. DH has a 4wd and commutes to the city 25km away most days he fills up once a week and its always over $100
electricity for a 4 bedroom home no pool $350 to $500 every 3 months
