Soo I've been slack, really slack. And gained some weight ,more weight then I would like. Wondering if any of you lovely hubbers could point me in the direction of a thread with other hubbers who are currently trying to lose weight so I could share and maybe find Some tips and hints ??

    Thanks in advance

Subbing . Im trying to lose weight, I have lost a few kg's in the last few weeks, I think what might be working is that i'm cutting out rubbish.. and thinking about what I want to eat before I actually go ahead and eat it. how much are you aiming at losing op? I find it easiest when I have one of those diet shakes for breakfast and 2 boiled egg whites to help make me feel fuller for longer.. (as gross as the combination sounds..), then I try to have a very light snack for morning tea and usually a salad type of lunch.. dinner I try to have a lean meat and salad/veggies. I am finding I have stopped craving the junk tho so it's a good thing. yay.

Right now I'd be happy to at least drop 10kgs but eventually id love to come down 30kgs all together.

By the sounds of it we are doing the same thing..... Minus the eggs lol oh and I'm also taking reducta
    Monday I started doing

Morning- I take 1 reducta wait half hour then have a shake (thus far getting through half a shake and feeling too full to have anymore )

I don't feel hungry til lunch

Lunch- a light salad or some fruit

Dinner- (since yesterday lol) I'm taking another reducta waiting half hour then some chicken breast etc with various veg

sounds good!! I think baby steps at a time.. I just focus on 500g weight loss at a time.. it feels much easier to think that way, than x amount of kg's.. does reducta work? I haven't tried it yet!

I'm finding its working in making me feel less hungry definately. My issue before was just never feeling full. Now like I said I can barely get through a shake in the morning.
I'm happy with any loss over no loss hehe

I have been working on this too.
I have reduced (but not eliminated) the amount of carbs i eat
I have swapped my coke addiction to soda water
I have swapped my glass of wine to a low carb light beer
    Breakfast: 2 boiled eggs
    Snack: Grapes
Lunch: Rice paper rolls with shredded boiled chicken and salad and a dipping sauce
Snack: home made hummus and roce crackers
Dinner: Alternate chicken breast and scotch filled (lean) steak and salad.
I allow a bad meal a week, this week it is gonna be chicken and mushroom risotto
I have a treadmill at home that i jump on atleast 4 nights a week. I walk for 5mins on 6 incline at 5 speed and i have hand weights i use then i jog for 10 minutes on 0 incline at 8 speed and keep alternating for an hour. Then some stretches and if i am not completely done i do a few reverse sit ups and some planking.
Insert low cab beer here to celebrate that i didnt cark it!

A personal trainer i know said that the only way to get fat out of your body is to flush it out with water. She said to make sure you drink lots of it during and after your workout as well as during the day.

I found the first week of my "diet" very painful, craved sweet things and bread etc but once i got past the 5 day mark i havent been having those cravings anymore.

Plexus is the only thing that has worked. I was that impressed with it that I am now an ambassador for the company. It burns fat and not muscle so you also get a bit of a toned look.
where do you get it from and how does it work? is it a shake?

I'm doing optifast. they seem pretty thick and not too bad to taste.

My mum swears by the 5/2 diet. So you eat normally ( not excessive but not starving yourself) for 5 days of the week and the on two days only eat 500calories...
