Tonight we waited till DS was asleep & got Maccas because we wanted McFlurries. DS got in trouble at school so he certainly wasn't getting any!

I accidentally slept in until 12.40 and DS didn't get himself breakfast (he's 9, perfectly capable of getting it himself). To make up for it I'm going to get some noodles and sushi.

i let my 8mth old eat one of those finger buns from bakers delight - you know the pretty looking ones with a crap load of sugary fatty 'icing' on top? I didnt expect him to eat much at all but before i knew it he devoured the whole thing and was trying to steal my 2.5yr old's one too. He didnt want his usual bottle of formula after his nap. Oops. Now he's eating newspaper and has black ink all over his face. But totally enjoying himself.

Oh what a great thread. Here are a few of my confessions:My kids eat some form of junk every day. I occasionally bribe with lollies, I keep a Tupperware container full of lollies in case of bribing emergency.
I make my own muesli bars but not because I'm some smug anti store bought muesli bar protester..but because the store ones seem to all contain nuts and DD attends a nut free school. I make them as something to stick in her lunch box sometimes and the ones i make aren't that healthy either...
I don't bathe my kids every night.
I let my kids watch abc2 in the mornings while I lay in bed a bit longer.
The tv is on a lot, not always watched but I leave it on.
I have an alcoholic drink occasionally, I breastfeed.
I enjoy time away from my kids, I don't miss them, I just enjoy the time alone.
I lie and say food is 'too spicy for kids' just so I don't have to share.
I eat food in the pantry so I don't have to share.

I could go on and on but have to go attend to children who are running around like crazy without my supervision.
