This is freaking brilliant. Question- can I do it with puzzles?

Another brilliant idea! I fill up my boys bowls (the tupperware kind with lids) program the tv and all they have to do is add some milk

I have potty mouth and I don't feel guilty they have picked up on them. I have been trying to teach them not to swear in front of anyone else.

In all seriousness, this thread is just what I needed to read.

I can take myself a wee bit seriously at times, which includes being incredibly hard on myself, and it's so good to be reminded that we all have our average parenting moments!!

Thanks to everyone who has shared

ATM, the toddler is at daycare and the baby is asleep in the car in the garage - he fell asleep on the way home and I didn't want to move him as he always wakes up when I do that, and he was awake almost all night last night with tummy cramps? teething? whatever the problem was. I'm sitting in front of the TV having a cup of tea instead of mopping the floors. Is that really bad (that he's in the car)? I've got all the doors open.
No it's not bad, I do it all the time! My garage is locked, she has a blanket and I'm only in the next room :-)

Sometimes when DS wakes up in the night I pretend I'm asleep so DH will go into him - he has to get up at 4.30 to go to work. DODGY WIFE lol

Oh and this morning on the way to child care i told DD that daddy was going to be away for work tonight. I asked her if she knew what that meant (thinking she would say that daddy wont be home tonight). Her response: "Tinned spaghetti for dinner and i get to watch movies and fall asleep in your bed!"
