is it terrible that this made me laugh so much I've got tears?? We have that very couch.. This thread is amazing )

We eat all our meals on the couch (me and DH) and the kids have kiddie ikea table and chairs next to us and eat there. I don't think we've ever used our dining table and chairs unless we've had family over.

I feed dd an apple a day, not cause its healthy but because they keep her quiet / occupied for ages - and I put her in front of the tv to do so.

She has my old galaxy with no sim that I give her in bed next to me in the morning to play on so I get more sleep.

When she starts nagging me for breakfast I sometimes give her some in her highchair and put a movie on and go back to bed till she starts calling for me

On the weekends dh and I to get a sleep in give her snacks before brekkie and set her up in the lounge with a movie while we sleep in

Shes toilet trained but wears nappies for naps / bedtime still so If I think shes gonna fall asleep in the car on the way home from somewhere ( a short journey) I sometimes put a nappy on outside of her clothes to catch wee cause I cant b bothered taking her clothes off then putting them on again

I take her to indoor playgrounds and relax with a cuppa and buy myself a gourmet lunch but bring her a vegemite and cheese sandwich from home

I give her chuppa chups and a roll from bakers delight everytime we go food shopping.

I put her in occasional care once a fortnight at the local kindy just for some peace and quiet.

I yell sometimes too. ( not great but I reach end of my teather at times)

Ill think of more im sure.....

Omg I am loving this thread.

Ds is awake in his cot but I refuse to get him up because it isn't 7 and I want some me time.

I put ds (10 months) in front of the tv with abc2 on so I can clean or even juwt get some peace if we are having a really whingy day.

I am too lazy to clean the left over food from ds so I let the dog in to lick it up.

Most of the time I DON'T then wipe said highchair down even though I tell people I do.

The dog gives ds kisses, ds opens his mouth and sticks his tongue out. I don't try to stop it I just sit back and laugh.

Probably way more but I can't think of them right now.

I call the ice cream truck 'the music truck' and we watch it go by. But if a neighbour is out buying ice cream I take DS into the backyard so he doesn't see their delicious soft serve ice creams
