Your kids have got it darn good. I would have thrown them in the bin.

HAHAHAHAHA omg I think I just pee'd a little laughing at that!

One day when we were doing late night shopping and DH was buying shoes in city beach DS2 was at the point where he was about to breakdown into a full sensory meltdown and was hiding in his pram cos it was all too much for him... I picked up a monsters foot slipper and figured I'd try to make him giggle and head the meltdown off... so I stuxk the slipper under the hood of the pram in front of his face... omfg I have nevet heard him scream so loud it scared the beejeebus out of him, it took me 15 mins of tight cuddles and rubbing his back to get him to stop screaming at the top of his lungs and another hour to stop him sobbing. Talk about backfire, snd still to this day he refuses to enter that city beach cos "there monsters in there mummy, I fraid" - and I'll admit, I still giggle when I think about it.

How refreshing, turns out we're all human after all! Here's some more:
If I drink, it's to get drunk, and I guarantee I will smoke. I'm excellent at smoking.
My eldest DSD is 11 and thinks kissing is disgusting, so DH often gives me a big kiss in front of her which she finds hysterical and gross
Our kids are expected to do chores.
I don't know how to get dd2 to sleep without boob.
    Dd1 drinks tea. She's 10.
My house is a mess, hasn't been vacuumed for two weeks and the sheets need changing.

A few times when ive been running really late for work I let dd eat one of those rice bubble bars for breakfast washed down with a (sugar free) chocolate milk .... This is all done in the car on the way to kindy and I wipe her face before we get there to hide the evidence! The fact that the milk is sugar free makes me feel better.

Also I have been known to leave dd in a nappy sometimes because I'm too tired to do the toilet training thing. Bad bad parent.
