Had my tubes tied during my second c section. So far have had no issues and am 7 months on...

Was an extra 5 minutes, during the procudure and clips were used. So far so good. It is a big decision (I know I am done!) But if anything life changing occurred and for some crazy reason we wanted another one we would have to go through IVF anyway. I just wanted to be SURE there would be no accidents, as unlikely as it would be, it would happen to me!

To be honest I've no idea what my obstatrician meant. DH was adamant he was getting snipped so once my ob said no go to the ligation DH just said he'd get it done and we moved on. I've got a lot of internal scarring on my uterus, and adhesions on my bladder. It might have something to do with that?

DH had zero recovery issues and very little pain after the snip. He's just glad that after years and years of contraception and IVF treatments which I went through that this was something he could do and take it off the table for me.

Thanks so much for all the input ladies! This definitely has me thinking that the snip is the safer way to go!
