We flew with Jetstar about 3 months ago and we took 2 x car seats and a pram - and they flew them all free of charge with our luggage - we had 2 suitcases which we paid the money to get 20Kgs in each but the car seats and the pram were all free.... thats for 1 child under 2 and 1 child over 2??

And I just booked on line and picked seats at the time - no extra charge?

The only problem you'll have them yes is the width of the seats. I doubt yours will fit (they don't on Virgin) but just check on the Jetstar website.
Do you buy chance remember what size the seat were on virgin?
It's saying for jetstar A320 they are 17.88inch wide. Later on this afternoon I will go measure them.
Thanks for all your help :-)

I was unsure weather our daughter being 2.5 they would allow the pram for free so the children will all share 1 large suitcase and then the other 20kg allowance I got for the stroller but as its so light maybe they will allow a car seat as well??

Virgin have a policy that the carseat must not be wider than 16inches if taking onboard.

According to the Jetstar website, you can check your carseat as extra luggage at no charge anyway.
