I didn't think you could change it throughout the year either.

But then Centrelink are not always the most helpful or knowledgeable!

I always had it paid fortnightly to me but stupid Centrelink changed it to quarterly this financial year (without my approval!) and will not change it back until next financial year.

You should be able to change it. I had this battle with centre link last year.

They didn't let me change it because they said it didn't matter if I was receiving the fortnightly rebate or the centre was, but if I was receiving quarterly then I would be able to change. Such a nightmare.

Also, I made complaints and had a case manager. I found her really condescending. I told her I rang in the school holidays so I didn't have to have my kids do nothing while I wait on the phone for an hour, so she said, "oh, so you only call when it's convenient for you?" Umm, yes!

My 2 daughters are in daycare full time and we have it going directly to the daycare. Like a PP said its just like any other bill and I know how much is coming out of my account and what is on the statements. I haven't had any problems

Mine is paid directly to the centre, no issues so far and I always check our invoice
