Default Spinoff. Do you have savings?

Not asking for how much or any details! Just wondering if there's anyone else who has never had savings? We just can't do it, so undisciplined!

We both work and should be able to save quite a bit but I just like to buy things oops.

    Somehow it always works out
But it would be nice to know we had a buffer.

We do, but only because I'm really strict. Dp never has had savings before now.

I'm afraid not. I'm a real live for today type person. After my rent and bills get paid I always spend it on entertainment, going out, cafes etc etc.

I refuse to have house, car, pet, funeral , private health or any other insurance..I will not live in that constant fear of something happening. If it does, I will deal with it then...

Yep we have 2 accounts. Ones for short term goals/wants and the other is for long term goals.

ETA: I forgot I also opened a savings account for DS which I put $30 a month.

We have house and car insurance. We didnt have house insurance for a little while and I was scared that the house would burn down or something and we would be screwed. Our mortgage is only
small (180k) but what would we do with that much still to pay off and no house?
