I only got my license in May...I could live without a car but I could no longer do it happily.

Honestly we wouldn't be able to live without at least 1 car/vehicle. Dh works 15k from here and DD1's kindy is also about 15k. Dh leaves to early to be able to catch public transport and the kiindy doesn't have any PT close by so it'd be a pain in the ***. We have a car, a ute and 2 registered motorbikes i'm sure we could do without at least 2 of them lol

No way! We don't live in close walking distance to any public transport and there is no way I would want to try and get myself & 2 children under 2 onto a bus. The bus service around here leaves a lot to be desired (it was my primary form of transport before I got my license) and I was left at the bus stop several times as they drove straight past me. I would hate to have that happen with 2 kids in tow.

We have survived with only one car until recently. Finding things much easier with two cars. I think as the kids gets older its more of a necessity now. Plus when they get older and do more activities it will come in handy

I'm sure I could, but it definitely makes life easier. I love having my own car. Plus we go on a lot of weekend driving trips and visit family all over the place.

Yes and I do. Infact where I live doesn't even have a car park. I do have a motorcycle that I use when I need to go further for study requirements but that is all. My kids school is 20 minutes walk and next to the closest train station.

Not a chance. We have 2 cars...we could get away with 1 but it would be a PITA.
