    Default Thrush...I know Eww

Just wondering what you all use if you have thrush.

I had it pretty much all through my pregnancies and since being pregnant i get it quite often. I get it almost all the time after my period and some times just randomly. I get it probably 6-8 times a year.

I was using the cream but i hate it so much and i had a pretty nasty case recently that the cream wouldnt clear up. So i took a $20 tablet and within a couple of hours it was clearing up.

Would their be a reason i get it so much, any advice on stopping it and what do you use??

It could be a number of things causing it. Have you been tested for diabetes? sugar int he urine can cause it and thrush is a common symptom of high sugars.

What do you use to 'wash' there, soaps can cause it

    Is your underwear too tight?

Hi, I had recurrent thrush for years which I would get each and every month. It was so awful! I ended up being referred to a gyno in Sydney, Dr Jennifer Bradford, and she changed my life! I have not had it since. She is amazing and specialises in vulval issues such as thrush.

I had it throughout my 2nd pregnancy and could not get rid of it for years after
My blood sugar levels were slightly elevated which probably contributed to it. Once I started taking metformim it went away. I'm no longer on it but I just make sure I don't consume much sugar or things that help cause it, like beer.
