Default 3 year old suspected UTI

My 3 year old DD has been screaming in pain when trying to wee. When she tries only a small dribble comes out and she is in lots of pain (holding her belly, saying it stings etc) I'm pretty certain this is a UTI. If I can't get to the Dr tonight what can I do for her to help her in the meantime? Will the pharmacy have something? Poor thing is trying to wee often but she's in pain. Horrible to watch

    Thank you!

You poor thing!!!! You must be beside yourself. I could not read and not reply....

I honestly have no idea - wondering if another hubber can advise if ural would work for a three year old?

    Good luck!

Chemist should be able to give some advice if not try Cranberry juice!!! It's not a flavour that everyone likes though.

Also try putting her in a bath. Hope she feels better soon, how horrible!

Thanks Hun! I was thinking the same thing about the Ural. I've only had 1 UTI before and it was not fun. I wonder if I need to get her to the Dr tonight. She's screaming every time she tries to go!

If she needs to wee can you sit her in a warm bath, it may be soothing enough and calming enough to let her wee. Might at least get you through till you can get her to the Doc.

    GBH's its horrible

I'm trying to get her into the bath but she's only wanting to lay down. I'll try again. I think it would help a bit.

Get her in the bath!!! It will not sting as much if she wee's while she is sitting in warm water.
