Thanks, yeah it's good and it's keeping me level emotionally rather than the up and down of pills. I think it's a higher dose than I really need though.

Having your body's baseline stabilised chemically can be such a relief can't it?

I had a good friend who used bupe successfully to break a 5 yr smack habit. It took a long time but I think her body needed that, and she needed to ease herself into unmediated life very slowly.

You can reduce your dose when you're ready.

    You're inspiring Ffrenchie. Truly.

Thanks everyone. Dd2's op went better than expected, such a good day yesterday. Today is kind of sucky, I'm not a burden anyone should bear.

(Yes, I'm aware they are tool lyrics.)

    I am
On 16mg of suboxone a day now and have a lot of memory gaps. I can't even remember buying the outfit I have on, or where I was on specific days. I know I was in Kingaroy hospital, then nambour, the went to the addiction and pain specialist in auchenflower, stayed with a friend, caught up with another friend, dd2 had her op. it's actually quite scary.

That sounds very unsettling/ scary. I'm so glad that the op went well.
