Everything is just coming to a head for me N. I'm addicted to oxy, now I'm banned from picking up my own scripts anywhere in qld, bulimia is back with force, I've had some suicidal episodes, I've got no skin left on my feet from picking them and I'm depressed. Sounds very dramatic I know but I can't live any longer like this.

Hun, I'm in Toowoomba. I went private, to St Andrew's. I paid my $250 excess and that was it. Do you have PHI?

Ah Ffrenchie I'm sorry to hear its all come to a head. As you know I've been following your posts lately. You are one brave, eminently sensible and honest woman- it takes all that to ask for help. Let us know how you go, I hope you get the right treatment really soon xxx

Thanks Atropos. I feel really silly with all this. I just can't go on without further help. It feels like it's make or break. I have to go back to work in a couple of weeks, I need some things in place quick smart.

I wish I could make you see you aren't being silly- the opposite! It would be silly to ignore all this and hope it went away. If it feels make and break then it probably is. And I think it's awesome that you are frank and realistic enough to say "hey, know what- I need that help now, thanks" so I hope you get it sooner rather than later. You have us here and sounds like you have a great DH in your corner- your own personal cheer squad :cheerleader:

Depression is hell on earth. (I've had many, many bouts, anxiety/delusional and panic disorders since early childhood) For those who have not ever experienced it, I always explain it as follows: Imagine winning a million dollars and being completely unable to feel an ounce of happiness- that's what depression does, it utterly zaps a person's ability to feel anything except pure dread, sorrow and sadness, despite the circumstances.

Thinking of you. Even though we are all just internet people, ("internet friends") we are still real, living breathing individuals and we are all here for you, French.
