    But maybe that's just me.

Frenchie, I have no practical advice. I have never been in your situation or known anyone who has been. I really do hope that you come through this all relatively unscathed. xx Good luck.
The information given about there being a cheaper option was incorrect and I was just trying to clear it up. I'm sorry Ffrenchie. It was insensitive of me. I was just trying to help.

I do hope they do something to help you, mental health care in this country is pretty crap and very underfinanced.

    Thanks everyone.

Yeah the gp knows I was taking too much but reduced my original prescription rather than increasing it when she took it out of my hands. Which makes no sense because even though I can't control addictive meds very well, I think I still have a right to pain relief. At one stage I was taking a whole packet of endone over a couple of hours plus Oxys as well. 20+20+10 makes no sense. It would be better off taking nothing but then is have the pain plus the mental and emotional stuff plus worse withdrawls to deal with.

Ok they are keeping me overnight at this small hospital and starting me on an anti psychotic, I am petrified of weight gain now omg. I don't know whether to take it. He is increasing the oxy to 30. Better than nothing I guess. Home tomorrow.

You can lose weight. Take care of your mental state first then worry about that later.

    Hugs.

That sounds good that they are going to monitor you, take care, take the medication as it will help with the impulses and thoughts. Not all anti psychotics will put on weight and psychiatrists are very careful with patients who already have eating disorders as they know it will only make things worse for you. Hopefully the extra pain relief and the anti psychotic will give your poor brain a small break tonight. Take care and let us know how you get on.
