While we are chatting, does anyone know if there's a way to get prescription meds cheaper!? I guess it's adding to the financial pressure at the moment, all my meds. The OxyContin is $40 every ten days, endone $20 a week, pristiq $60 every four weeks plus my beta blockers. Thank goodness the gp graciously offered to bulk bill me while I am having to go every 6 days.

Money stuff sucks and we are bad with it, we both have above average wages (though I'm not working until sept) and a cheap mortgage but we just used our last $30 to get me over here today.
Can you get the generic brands eg oxynorm? They are just cheaper usually

Thanks guys, a few people have offered to help, I really appreciate but could never accept. I have such a conscience about being bad with money I don think I deserve it. But thanks. We get laid on Wednesday and all will be good. We have everything we need except petrol, sanity and a good healthcare system.

    No healthcare card.

Is oxynorm he generic version of endone? We haven't been offered anything else, I think they normally ask you if there is a generic one available dont they?

I'm not allowed to pickup my scripts now but I might get dh to ask.

I'm so angry on your behalf. I can't understand how you can't get the help you want and need. It's a disgrace!

Oxynorm is just a stronger version of endone. It's no cheaper.

Thanks ripper. It is disgraceful. I could not have looked more insane talking to the doctor if I tried. I couldn't even talk because I was crying so much and I jumped up and asked for a knife.

Dh was just telling me a client of his got turned away then actually attempted suicide after that THREE times before he got accepted.

If you get FTB you could apply for a loan? I know it's only $500 but it will pay for 3-4 weeks of meds?

Actually I did ask for oxynorm 20's instead of endone but it was a no. Endone.does.nothing. It's so weak but the doctor reckons it's so strong.
