That is BS!!!! So sorry honey!!! Seriously, how low do you have to get?! Please make sure that some one is with you tonight... and know that you are an extremely strong woman (not many would try and seek the help you are trying to get)... A. xx

Yeah I dunno. Dr has left for awhile to 'formulate a plan.'

While we are chatting, does anyone know if there's a way to get prescription meds cheaper!? I guess it's adding to the financial pressure at the moment, all my meds. The OxyContin is $40 every ten days, endone $20 a week, pristiq $60 every four weeks plus my beta blockers. Thank goodness the gp graciously offered to bulk bill me while I am having to go every 6 days.

Money stuff sucks and we are bad with it, we both have above average wages (though I'm not working until sept) and a cheap mortgage but we just used our last $30 to get me over here today.

I had no idea how hard it was to get help . Please hold on. It will get better, it just might take a while. Can you try one of the Brisbane EDs?

I guess you wouldn't have a health care card, as you and DH are probably earning too much?

Can you get the generic brands eg oxynorm? They are just cheaper usually

Thanks guys, a few people have offered to help, I really appreciate but could never accept. I have such a conscience about being bad with money I don think I deserve it. But thanks. We get laid on Wednesday and all will be good. We have everything we need except petrol, sanity and a good healthcare system.

    No healthcare card.

Is oxynorm he generic version of endone? We haven't been offered anything else, I think they normally ask you if there is a generic one available dont they?

I'm not allowed to pickup my scripts now but I might get dh to ask.

I'm so angry on your behalf. I can't understand how you can't get the help you want and need. It's a disgrace!

Oxynorm is just a stronger version of endone. It's no cheaper.

Sent from my pho....oh who am I kidding. It's rarely used as a phone
