Our bub on board is an ivf baby, so DH knew what time they would call through with the results, hence no chance to do anything cute - just a very shaky, crying phone call!

I am researching some cute photo ideas though so when we get past the first trimester we can do a lovely announcement on FB

Sent from my HTC One X using The Bub Hub mobile app

My DH and I were on holidays when we found out we were pregnant, we had some photos taken at the time (just before we knew). I got one of those photos and did a thing like the MasterCard ad, so I had two things about the photos and the cost for them and the had "finding out there are actually 3 in the photo: priceless" and then in smaller letters below that I put baby due xxx (the month bub is due).

Didn't do anything exciting to tell partner. But when we told my parents about baby #2 I dressed DS1 in a shirt I had made which said 'guess what? I'm going to be a big brother!'. We went round to their place and waited for them to notice the shirt.

It was great. Mum read it out aloud and then said 'what?!?!' and started laughing.

Friends we did a Facebook announcement and had a photo of DS1 in the shirt holding a sign saying 'only child expiring May 2012'

    Our 2 kids are gorgeous
    They are our whole world
    Two perfect little boys.
    But what is this?

I was going to tell my mum via a mothers day card with a positive test in it but i ended up in hospital (possible ectopic) before mothers day and my sister told my mum because she was concerned about me in hospital, so told my grandmother via mothers day card by saying and "happy soon to be great grandmothers day again" and posted on facebook a picture of 2 monkeys with a baby monkey saying that this is what our family will look like in about 6 months time.

If we are lucky enough to fall out first cycle ( I know there is next to no chance) I will try and keep it a secret for a week then give DH a happy Father's Day card! The challenge will be to keep it a secret! Although like I said I'm not feeling like this is our month!

What a great idea.. I could also do the same thing if it happened and if I could keep it a secret!
