    Default Pepti Junior advice

DS2 (5mths) has been weaned to this prescription formula due to severe allergies.

I'd like to know if it's normal for the poos to be REALLY disgusting smelling, as well as a deep khaki green colour? I've read the ingredients and it shows there is still some milk protein included, albeit broken down dramatically. But I'm worried it's still affecting him - he still vomits a lot too, although not as much.

DS1 had to go to prescription
formula due to allergies at 6mths too, but he was on Elecare. His vomiting stopped almost instantly and I don't remember his poos being quite this bad. It may be completely unrelated, but that I'd seek some advice. TIA.

    Hey pesca!!
My daughter when she went on to pepti her poops were very dark green and runny. The drs and dietician told me it was normal.
Though I didn't keep her on pepti. But yeah. Her poops definitely changed.

Thanks TamTam, makes me feel a little better. Typically green poop is a red flag, so I appreciate that.

Although I'm still not convinced this is the right formula for him, since he's still vomiting a lot. I'll give it another week.

How long has he been on it?? I'm not the best advocate for pepti junior. ..chloe was worse on it. But she definitely had the poops you were talking about. The dr told me because it's really easy to digest.
The Dr's told me at least 2 weeks for a change. I gsve up on pepti junior at 2 weeks.
We tried neocate too but not elecare.
Chloe didn't vomit much at all.

It's just coming up to 3 weeks, but have been mixed feeding until the last 5-6 days. So probably should wait a bit longer in case there's still any traces in his system I guess?

Green poo is normal for formula fed bubs, it's because of the added iron. DS has runny poos too.

Maybe? What does your paed say? Chloe was very unsettled on pepti... and vomiting more considering she never really did. I have always thought get intolerance was mild. ..I have her on allerpro now. It's not as broken down but seems to agree with her. And doesn't smell as foul!! Pity you don't live closer I have 4 tins of pepti I'm not using!!! I think maybe wait. .. but I think the poops will stay that way. It's gross.
