Default Can someone recommend me a bottle brand

I have advent and I have these bottles I came home from the hospital with.

She seems to be having trouble with both. The hospital ones come to quick forcing her to gulp and dribble a lot. The advent ones she seems to not be drinking a lot and gives up half way through.

I am not breast feeding so it does not need to be similar to that. She does seen to have issues with colic so do etching good for that as well.

Thanks in advance for any assistance!!!

We use Avent - could she need a bigger teat?

I've also heard good things about Dr Browns.

    Pigeon are great.
I use closer to nature and DD has no problems with them but couldn't handle other brands.

So with teat flow you are looking for the following. ..
Suck swallow breathe pattern. If bub sucks sucks swallows sucks then breathes like gulping the teat is too fast.
Any milk escaping is an indicator that is a bit fast too.

Eyes watering or coughing can indicate the flow is too fast.

So perhaps those teats from the hospital are a bit fast? I still say pigeon or medela teats. Even the slim line cheap ones from big w or k mart are great. It's the hard short style teats like avent and closer to nature that bubs often have trouble with.

I think my hosp had the same awful teats - they'd nearly drown DS! Chuck them!

After DD had so much trouble with colic I did lots of research. I'd used avent with her. Pigeon got so many good reviews so I got those and very happy. DS doesn't struggle to control the flow at all, when he sucks milk comes out and when he wants to stop, the flexible teat means he can sort of squash it to stop the flow. Both bubs have been mixed fed.

I liked medela and pigeon. I tried avent, nuk and tommee tippee but she struggled with them. The hospital teats I had were ridiculously fast too, even though they were labelled extra slow. She was gulping down like 90mls in 5 minutes!! The bottles were much slower.
