I've never found myself in your situation OP, as I think I'd be the same as your DH.

That said, if I found myself in a situation where one of us was going to be disappointed and there was no "make everyone happy," option (as there won't be in your case), I would do what I thought was right. It would be my body, and there is no way I could have a termination if I didn't want to... the relationship wouldn't survive if I did, and since it may not survive regardless of the outcome, I'd be making sure the outcome was one that I was comfortable with.

Good luck with your amnio today.

Just wanted to wish you luck. We were in a similar situation - we were testing for a condition that our oldest daughter has that leaves her unable to walk or talk and with a variety of health issues. I had decided what I would do prior to having CVS, it was tough but my husband acknowledged that it was my body - I was aware of his thoughts on the matter, after much discussion we were able to finally come to a point where we were both on the same page.

Fortunately our results were all clear and we had a healthy baby girl.

Good luck with the amnio, I had numbers similar to yours and honestly didn't think twice about it. Many countries don't consider you high risk until your 1/100. I did not do additional testing and my baby so far is fine, I am not 100%until she is born, but at 33 weeks all scans have been perfect. Odds are everything is fine, but if no I would def think counselling will be needed if the results are not favourable. Good luck I hope your results are all clear
