    Default Exhausted and cranky.. HELP!

    Ok so I'm studying nursing externally and I have 3 girls, a 10 month old 2 year old and a 4 (almost 5 so will be in school next year) I'm having to get most of my studying done after they are in bed and I'm often up until after midnight! I'm exhausted and cranky most days and I hate that I tend to get cranky at the girls! Can anyone give me some tips on how I can be less cranky? It's buggin me!

    Have you tried taking 5 minutes out of your day to do some meditation? or yoga? When you're feeling cranky/like you're going to snap, take some time out (just for a few minutes) to do some deep breathing.
    Can you get someone to help watch your kids once or twice a week so a couple of nights you can get a full nights rest & not study and catch up when they're being watched?

    I know it sucks to be cranky, especially when the end of the term hits and I have not caught up. I am very stressed at that time and often don't sleep more than 5 hours a night.

    Maybe compacting the essential tasks like cleaning into less time. So as to give you more time to perhaps take a hot relaxing bath, that's hopefully uninterrupted.

    It always refreshes me to have a hot bath. Even if it's just for 10 minutes.
    The kids usually watch TV by themselves in that time. I don't think its too bad as long as they are entertained and aren't waging wars.
