    I think use Amy Elizabeth if you still feel ok with it, not weird to use the same middle name esp if it has a special family meaning, few of my cousins share same middle names as it was grandma/pa's names. I think Amy works with both Jennifer and Nicole, I like Nicole best. Otherwise I love Amy Louise

    Amy Elizabeth is gorgeous but i understand the issue.

    I think the PPs suggestion of Amy Isobel has the same elegant, regal, exquisite sound to it as Amy Elizabeth.

    DH and his cousin have the same middle name (there dads have the same name) and our DS and there DS have the same as well (born 5 months apart).

    DH and his cousin are close and only a year apart in age and it never bothered them growing up so don't think well have an issue for our sons either.

    I would always use a family middle name but that's just my preference.

    Love Amy Louise, I was going to suggest that one. otherwise Amy Madison, Amy Jane, Amy Grace, Amy Charlotte...
