Congrats flaussie that is terrific, stay positive.

    Regarding the OB’s
I had my DS with Waterfield and it was a good experience albeit 13 odd years ago now. He also managed the pregnancy wit Noah until it ended he was kind but I felt like I constantly had to jog his memory about the circumstance of getting pregnant and miscarriage history which was on his file. He also managed the following miscarriage but very poorly. I won't be going back to him because of it. He also did a hysteroscopy and did a very poor job I have keloid scarring as his stitches were too loose and wounds kept opening he said to leave it when I bought it to his attention. He does not charge a pregnancy management fee.

I have heard nothing but great things about Dr Wright. He does not charge a pregnancy management fee.

I will if we are lucky enough for this IVF caper to ever work go with Dr Natalie. Her level of care and the scans done on site at her practice after what happened with Noah and following CVS was so stressful we will go with her knowing that all results are discussed immediately. After 6 losses I really need immediate feedback and I didn’t get that previously. Dr Natalie does charge a pregnancy management fee.

AFM I start Sniffing and taking Prednisolone and Progynova today. Its also our anniversary today.

    Congrats, fabulous news.

I loved Dr Wright. He was so calm and supportive through all my dramas and took the time to explain things. He has a bit of a quirky sense of humour. For example during one of many hospital stays he ended up running around the room 'sticking' himself to walls.

His staff are great too and no management fee.

I didn't really get much of a rapport with either Dr Waterfield or Natalie, but I only saw them briefly when I was in hospital during their on call weekends.

@flaussie CONGRATS!!!!!! I am seeing Dr Wright and love him, he has a great sense of humour and the ladies out the front are fantastic! He does fill hick so there is no harm in booking your 12 week appointment with him now! And no management fee is such a bonus! I seen Dr Natalie when i had my bleed a few weeks ago and i found her to be thorough and approachable, The management fee is pretty out there and for the same care with Dr Wright it was a no brainer for me, but i understand were Bellavista is coming from with such a rough trot i would want the best care POSSIBLE as well and it would be convenient having to get your scans at the same place!
AFM- 21 weeks and no more bleeds! I have a cook here now so i only do the office work and the gardening so i am pretty happy! Feeling baby move so much now and LOVE it! Cant wait to meet him! My next appointment is on the 24th with Dr wright Not sure what this one will be for but i am onto one every 4 weeks now! My Tenants move out of our house at the end of the month so if any of you Cairns ladies know of any moving sales where i can pick up good stuff to funish my house i would appreciate it, I'm currently looking at Gumtree and Cairns buy swap and seek FB page

How are you ladies enjoying this beautiful north QLD weather? It's nice to have some cool weather for a change.

Musicalgirl so nice to hear an update from you. You sound like you are taking motherhood in your stride... Well done ! Thanks for the inspiring words, we do appreciate them so much.

sunny so pleased to hear that bubby has recovered and you sound emotionally recovered too. How wonderful that you have now reached the point that you can put all the challenges behind you. What an amazing journey.

bellavista I am so inspired by your courage and determination of completing ironman after all the difficulties including the mental physical and emotional hits of Ivf. You sound stronger and happier and ready to take on the next stage of the journey: I would think that after what you have achieved, you can achieve anything. Townsville Qfg are nice, could u courier meds from there, or go pick them up, and/or have a dirty weekend on magnetic island or the casino, it might be cheaper.

im also currently at wdas doorstep hoping the fertility gods will grant my wish. New fs new protocol and so far so good, except for 'something in the uterus' that may have to come out again unfortunately. Going to bank embryos for now and sort the uterus later. Hopefully won't have to bank for too long as I've got 19 eggs on scan and a bit more stimming to do. Wazza is a clever bunny isn't he. So more mountains to climb for me but I am up to the job I think.

    Hi everyone else

Butterfly thank you for your kind words. The break was really great for me in all aspects.

Work is extremely stressful and unfortunately the worst time to cycle but WDA is off for 6 weeks so had to go when he could fit me in!!

Sorry for my MIA I have been cheering you on in the back ground hun.

Had the worst week my nanna passed away, Spend four days watching her die. So sad, no words really, I was close to her so she will be missed. Then the day after she passed I got mastitis from the Ivf. My first doctor didn't diagnose it so it got worse and on a Sunday (my doctors are closed) I went to an after hours got pain relief and antibiotics. Did an ultrasound as well to cover all bases.
To top that all off my hubby got stood down from work and then received a demotion, I tell you we are truly at our wits end, yet I am so happy cause A; my boob feels better now (that pain was the worst pain) and B; my husband still has a job.
I have an appointment with Wazza for Feb next year. I have lodged a formal complaint to Genea for the treatment that was my June cycle.
Please keep me posted on your cycle, I hope it goes perfect or you. Can you PM your mobile again I lost it and would like to stay in touch if that is okay.

Bella vista yes poor DH has had his head well down while I've been on the syneral. Fortunately he has a shed to hide in and suddenly a few more than usual catchups with the boys - he's not silly .
It's hard getting the timing right but is there ever really a good time to do ivf, for me it's often such a buzz kill in the flow of life sometimes. I guess ur getting dragged back to WDA kicking and screaming lol..... All the very best though for your upcoming cycle - I presume WDA has got you on a long down reg?

Sharlee sorry to hear about your Nanna - it's so upsetting watching a long passing of somebody you love. Hope you get well soon. I reckon WDA is a solid choice. You can also ask to go on the wait list as appointments often come up.

@MusicalGal It was too hard and the option of picking up here wasn't going to happen as they were so rude to hubby when he got my syneral and they don't stock the human growth hormone than wazza wants me on. So I flew down for $400 total flight train and lunch not much more then freight!

Cd 7 second day of jabbing feeling tired and headaches is all I have but the syneral is probably the reason for those.
