You could look at red balloon or adrenalin for some different ideas. Both sites have things like rockclimbing, racing car driving, motorbike's etc.

    Sheesh, that's super expensive!

You could do a romantic picnic, or go camping/hiking together for a weekend. Or a romantic, home cooked date night.

I'm generally so bad at presents, lol.

Browse Etsy in some things that he's interested in? My dp is a gamer and his birthday is coming up so I ordered some cool gamer things from there and some stuff from threadless.

I'm not sure what to suggest without knowing what he's into, but doing something like a really cool outing is a good idea too. Is there skydiving near you? That's always fun.

If you're in Hobart, you could get him tickets to the next car show?? Or go to the speed way?

If he's into sporty stuff as well there's an awesome rock climbing place in the cbd.

I think it is very nice. But also agree that we men are pretty simple creatures, if you go out of your way on the day to make him feel special the gift will just be icing on the cake.

Gamers love games! If you do not know exactly what he is into just get him a voucher. I know that seems a little lame but it is better than getting a game he might not like/use.

Also if you have only been going out a couple of weeks it is possibly a little early to start with the big presents, a voucher and a nice day this year, big gift next year! Start small and get big, otherwise you make it very hard for yourself at Christmas/next birthday!

    All the best
