ds2, would NOT take a dummy. I tried about 6 different types. He is over 2yo and still wakes up.

Used a dummy from 2 weeks old and slept through at 10 months. Still sleeps through now at 21 months except when he is sick.

DD1 had a dummy from 3 weeks and didn't sleep through regularly til 13 months.

DD2 never had a dummy and didn't sleep through regularly til over 3.

DS1 has a dummy (is 2.5 yo) and wakes once a night about 3 times a week (but is in same room as DD2 who wakes at night and is often the reason he wakes).

DS1 no dummy, awful sleeper til around 15 mths.

DS2 has a dummy and is a much much better sleeper, still wakes once usually but has slept through a couple of times.
