Default what do you do with kids when you're sick?

After ideas on what to do when mummy has the flu and kids are healthy!
Im not quite sick enough for DH to stay home.
I dont have family or friends around to help out.
Ive drugged myself up. my head is still thumping, my bones are aching i cant brethe and im freezing. i wish i could stay in bed!

What would you do with a 2.5yr old and 7mth old to keep them quiet and entertained???

Omg Boots...it's sounds like you're sick enough for DH to stay at home.

Do you have a Mum or MIL close by who could take the kiddies for you for a few hours so that you can sleep?

I thankfully have mil to send DD off too (which I did last week while I was sick for 3 days!) but times like this sometimes call for far too much tv, or DD sometimes likes to play on the bed with a couple of fave toys, daycare even, if that's an option for you, sorry probably not much help, hope you feel better soon @-}--

I would sleep and wake when baby woke if you can barrier off somewhere safe for you all to be so your oldest 1 doesnt get up to too much mischief and hurt themselves. Make a bowl of food up and a few drinks for kiddo to help themselves and once baby is sleeping, sleep yourself.

    Hope you feel better soon.

I lay on the couch and doze, make sure doors are locked and knives are far away. Put on a DVD for kids, and tell them to leave me alone for a while. My kids are 4 and 7 though

B00ts I'm in the same position! Feel like I have daggers in throat too. It's not fun. We have been watching TV all day and letting them play while I flake on the couch. Not much else for it really.

Here's hoping we both get better quickly!!

Use the tv as my baby sitter (don't judge! Lol) and curl up on the couch with a blanket with them. I don't have family or friends here that can take them so like you I just have to soldier on. hope you're feeling better soon!

This is me today, so DS is staying home from school (is an hours drive there and back and I do not have the energy for that today) and is currently is his play room watching a movie while I sulk on the couch.

This is pretty much going to be our entire day I think.
