    Default Electricity bill question.

Got my electricity bill today. The period of the bill was from 25/4 - 29/7. It says the meter reading was an actual reading, not an estimate, but then it says the last meter reading was 24/4. I'm confused.

Last, as in the one before the current one?? Not very clear wording, but a possible interpretation.

That sounds right. 'Last' meaning the one before this one. So your current bill goes from the day after your last reading to the date of your 'current' reading.

Yes, but on the bill they said this quarter was an actual reading, when the last reading was 24/4?

    I must be vague today

That's completely normal. I just checked my bills and the are the same. It would just be the reading of the last billing period before the current one you have received the bill for.
