Yes Simpson they are all excellent signs that everything is awesome with your bubs. I have faith that all will be well but understand how nervous you are. At least you have a nice early appointment.
Im sure that your bubs will be ok Littlemissmagic. Your previous scans have all been great which is a pretty good measure of how bubs is going.

Sorry I meant Wish not Littlemissmagic - is it too early to say it was baby brain?

So after previously posting that I haven't suffered MS with any pregnancies, I have been hit like a truck!!

No vomiting but feeling sooo nauseous all the time. Had to leave work today cause I was feeling so bad. Been in bed all arvo and now lying on the couch. Also so tired all the time but can't actually sleep. Ok, that's enough whining!

On a positive note I have another scan on 1st Oct which I am really looking forward to.

    Good luck tomorrow Simpson!

Snap bedlover!! After seeing the gp on Saturday to get all my referrals and telling her how great I feel, today I thought I was gonna hurl on the bus. I nibbled on a single ginger nut the whole ride home just to make it last. I'm headed for another scan next week as well. I need one on my kidney because I'm not urinating as often as I used to and the Dr is worried my left kidney (which is obstructed) might not be able to cope under the stress of extra fluid and blood. So I'm getting a "well being scan" while I'm there.

Good luck tomorrow Simpson! It's definitely nervewracking waiting for these scans, always worrying that something is going to go wrong. Hopefully it's all good news tomorrow and you can relax for a while.

Good luck tomorrow Simpson! Yeah at least it's early in the day so you don't have to wait all day.

Wish, I am so bad for Google and freaking myself out too! I have to keep telling myself to focus on what is going well and not think about what could go wrong. Easier said that done.

Ha ha, Rtkirk yes defo baby brain. At least we can blame it on that anyway!

Ngaiz I hope all is well with your kidney. Great you get to see bubs again though.

    Hi to everyone else.

    Hi gals

My week is dragging waiting for scan Friday. Trying to see it positively in the sense that I will either get closure and a plan, or a happy surprise. Either way it will do my brain some good to be out of this week I think. It has been quite hard but will push through to the other side whatever that will be.

Lol to bed lover and ngaiz - ms really is gross isn't it. I have it this morning after a few days reprise which makes things a bit confusing for me. Also have come down with a flu which is knocking me around, so I think today will be spent in bed !

glad to hear we have some very good progress in the baby making stakes in here!

have a great day everyone !

I'm excited for my NT scan tomorrow morning, but sad that DH won't be able to come with me as he's got a meeting he can't get out of

I was having "night sickness" for the first time in ages last night, now I'm feeling pretty awful this morning too. Trying to keep breakfast down as long as possible but too scared to take my tablets yet! Apparently the prednisone I've been taking can mask morning sickness, so now I'm weaning off it, the MS might get worse before it gets better

Wish- Oh that's a shame your Mum didn't open up. The saying "Elephant in the room" springs to mind when I think of your situation. Sure is a tough one and I hope you can find a way to deal with it. I freaked myself out too, googling blighted ovums and other scary stuff. I really shouldn't have but preparing for the worst is an old habit from too much IVF. Sometimes I wish I lived in the dark ages! I'm sure everything will be fine on Friday

Lots- I always thought the TWW was hard, but the wait for the scan was exactly as you put it- torturous! Do you have any family nearby or are they all interstate? You must be taking off soon for your honeymoon, yay!!

rtkirk- yep baby brain is now a valid excuse for everything .

Bedlover- oh no sorry to hear the nausea has hit you so hard. I hope it is short-lived and you feel normal again soon.

Ngaiz- I catch a bus too and I'm worried that MS will suddenly kick in somewhere inconvenient like that. I hope those ginger cookies help with the nausea. The kidney obstruction sounds worrying... hope all is OK at your scan next week.

    Butterfly
    - Anxiously waiting for Friday to roll around and hear your next update. I hope the return of the MS means there's a happy surprise coming up

Arlais- Yes the pred can mask nausea. My RI has me on it and there's a whole heap of us in the Reproductive Immunology forum who are taking it too. Several of them are saying that MS got worse when they started weaning. Best of luck for NT scan tomorrow! How exciting to reach this point!!

Hi to Octoberbaby, LMM, Nirok and everyone else .

AFM- Scan done and we saw our little blob! Measurements were perfect for 7wks 2days and heartbeat was 147 . EDD confirmed as 11th May. So relieved we passed this milestone and I can relax a little now. After the scan, we popped in at our clinic next door to visit the FNs with our good news. They were so happy for us and said to keep popping in to show them my bump haha. Really excited now that we can start telling our families and close friends . Also feeling less guilty about all the food I've been eating now I know I really am growing a baby!
