    Welcome Butterfly and congrats on

How amazing Lotsathoughts!! Congrats, I can't wait till that day. Hearing that heartbeat is just the best thing

AFM - I had my BT this morning, 1 week after my BFP. I'll be 5 weeks on Sunday. Last week my HCG was 145 and Progesterone was 84 today it was HCG 2593 and Progesterone 120.. is that enough of a rise? I have no idea as this is my BFP and am a little nervous. Next BT on Friday and then 7 week scan on the 16th of September for the heartbeat! I can't wait for that!!!!

Thank you Arlais, Tiger and lotsathoughts! Congrats Lotsa on normal scan. Must be nice to have that confirmation that things are looking good.

I really hope I too get to see my little bean snuggling down there someday.

my clinic was happy with my beta because it was early... Usually they would like to see a number >100 only today and since its doubling and was 90 yesterday I should be well clear of that today hopefully....

Bfp really gives you so much more questions and 9 months to wait for an answer!

Tiger that rise seems fine. Hcg levels vary widely person to person. I found this table.

Approximate hCG levels for single baby pregnancy (mIU/ml)
    Week 3 - 0 to 5
    Week 4 - 5 to 430
    Week 5 - 180 to 7400
    Week 6 - 1,100 to 56,500
    Weeks 7 to 8 - 7,600 to 230,000
    Weeks 9 to 12 - 25,300 to 290,000
    Weeks 13 to 16 - 14,000 to 243,000
    Weeks 17 to 24 - 4,000 to 165,000
Weeks 25 to birth of baby - 3,200 to 90,000
4 to 6 weeks after birth Less than 5

Sounds pretty good to me JJ For comparison; my
    week 4 HCG was 187
    week 5 was 3160
    week 6 was 22,300
    week 7 was 58,600

It takes more than 96 hours to double after you start getting into the higher numbers. I never got told what my progesterone has been, just that all my hormones are well within the desired range. Wish had numbers about half mine to start with and we've both seen lovely healthy heartbeats at our scans - so plenty of variation just in our little thread!

Hi ladies. I had my BT yesterday and my beta came back at 233 putting me at 4+3 today. They have done my EDD from EPU and it's now 6/5/14 with another BT on Thursday and my 7wk scan is on 17/9.

I asked for my progesterone to be tested but was told that new studies show that it does not need to be standard. I've been on twice daily Crinone as I have a short luteal phase, I dropped to once daily today for the next four weeks and I'm nervous. I also booked my OB today, I know it's early but I didn't want to miss out as the group I'm going with is in high demand.

Hello and very happy to see you here to anyone just joining and of course congratulations. I'm in Fiji on my phone using the hotel wifi so won't do personals but was reading along and wanted to say hello.
I have seen my OB already. Same one I used with DS and all of my other pregnancies. I saw him at 7 weeks. Was actually booked in to see him at 8 weeks but because I had some bleeding and given my history his midwife told me to come straight in. She knows how much I'd be panicking which is great. I'll go back and see him at 10 weeks. Haven't booked into hospital yet but I'll do that when we get back next week.

Congrats to those with good scan and BT results. So happy for you
