Default When is the earliest I should test?

Im currently 7dpo and hanging out to test.

Im going to use the first response test so what is the earliest I can do it?

Has anyone got a bfp at 8 or 9dpo or should I just wait? I was going to do it Friday which would be 11dpo but the waiting sucks!

Any advice? This is our first month ttc

I got UTD the second month of actively trying so I'm not an expert on testing but I tested (on what i think was about) 13 dpo and got a BFN but tested on 17dpo(because I was off the taste of alcohol and my nipples were KILLING) and got a BFP!
I would imagine at 7dpo your B-HCG wouldn't be high enough yet to get a reading. Best save your $ and try and hold out a few more days if you ask me.
Good luck, fingers crossed for you!

Waiting sucks...but I would recommend holding out until at least 12dpo. I got a very faint line then on first response.

    Sigh....ill wait.

I wish there was some way of knowing straight away that we are pregnant

    Im so impatient.

Ive read on forums where women have got a bfp this early so was wondering how accurate that was

It is possible but it really depends on when the bub implants. And there's no reliable way of telling when that happens.

Good luck...whenever you choose to test, hopefully its a bfp!

Yeah it can take a while from fertilization to implantation (I think around a week on average) and its on implantation that you start to produce B-HCG. That's the hormone that is detected on the pee a stick test and the tests are only sensitive enough to pick it up at a certain level.
At 7dpo you might only just be implanting.

Sothisislove, I've had a few feelings of being a bit 'off' but it could just be that my body is actually working now (I had a lap a few weeks ago with ovarian drilling) - I am trying not to symptom spot as I don't want to get my hopes up. What about you?
