Hoi guys!! I deleted my app so I wasn't tempted to post, so may have missed s few things... I'm only back temporarily, to say hi.

I've really really enjoyed the break, I hadn't realised how consuming TTC was until we stopped. The weight off my shoulders is amazing! We didn't prevent this cycle, but fairly certain I o'd about a week after DH left for work, so no chance this cycle.

I had to phone my FS today regarding an invoice, and got chatting to the receptionist. She offered an appointment this afternoon to discuss our options. And now I'm booked in next month for a lap! Good opportunity considering we aren't TTC ATM. If she find something I think we will go back go IUI for a cycle or two. But if nothing I think we will stick to the original plan of trying IVF next year.

I think someone asked for details of the naturopath. Robyn.naturopath@gmail.com

Rocky - enjoy your time-out. Sounds like you've made a good decision, I really hope going down the IVF road will give you the BFP you've waited so long for

CinderElla - Bummer to hear you are feeling sick... Maybe if your body is too busy fighting the cold it wont fight the embryo trying to implant..??!!! Sounds good in theory anyway!

Del - hows your placement going? Surviving? Hope its gotten better for you. Hopefully the days are ticking away and you arent too tempted to cave and POAS early...

MissusMac - good to see you, was wondering how you are doing. Sounds like time-out has been a good thing for you. Thats great that you've been booked in for a lap - fx it will give you the answers you need!

Good to see you Mac! Have been wondering where you were! A month wait for a lap is great, I've been waiting 5 months with 5-6 months to go on the public system

Cinder - sorry to hear you are unwell. Hoping your fever lifts soon

Waiting - my placement is all done. Was only the 2 week one so a short one. I really enjoyed it and organised and ran 7 lessons, rather proud of myself lol The assignments just aren't stopping though *sighs*

AFM - 12 DPO and another BFN so def out. On to the last cycle of clomid. The desire for a baby hasn't lessened even a tiny bit, but I'm surprised how well I have taken it this month. I've kind of saw the neg, sighed and thought oh well, you knew that would be the case.

My FS gave the impression it could have been right after my next period (to rule out a pregnancy). But I need to have it while my mum is here to care for me and DS. FS is only going to be $330 out of pocket, plus my hospital excess and anaesthetist. Being private I was expecting thousands and thousands... It will push us over our Medicare threshold, so might consider a couple more IUIs this year while they're cheaper.

I asked about moving to IVF. And she wasn't keen to do that until Christmas.... NEXT YEAR! We'll hopefully be moving soon, so a change in FS.

Ah bummer Del Glad to hear you enjoyed your placement though! Do you have more placements coming up? I remember the assignments while on placement were RELENTLESS when I was at uni.. its like they forget you have to do lesson plans / prep / marking etc - especially in the last prac when we had to teach a full time load PLUS all the assignments they gave us... and everything was due 1 week after finishing prac I was nearly ready for the looney-bin!!

MissusMac - fx they can get you in for the lap asap!

Becca - I hope af turns up soon...
