And of course the one clinic was a 30 minute drive away so we threw the sample in the bin. Next test was my tests I arrived to get the dye test done of my tubes and this has to be done on CD9??and there I am sitting waiting and the nurse says have you had sex this cycle..ummmm yes why...because we can't do the test as it cause a miscarriage IF you are pregnant..Guess what once again no one told us that either so we had to wait til the next cycle.

Anyhow the point of my rants is of course your meant to be a mummy and I am so sorry you have to wait. I want to tell you it gets easier if you have to get extra treatment but I won't. It is all a complete waiting game the whol TTC business..

All my friends have had their babies and they are mostly toddlers/ primary school age now so I am kind of out of that phase. Thank god it still hurts though to know I am actually falling far behind them.
    Thanks for your words Sharlee.

Just so annoyed as these fertility "specialists" aren't cheap, we all pay them loads of $$ to help us with our dreams and they can't even tell us simple stuff like what order you have to do your blood tests in!!!

It's so hard with work as I don't work anywhere near the clinic and its not as simple as the nurses suggestion to just "pop in this afternoon" to do my initial test so I can start tracking tomorrow.

    Woe is me!!

You did make me laugh with a mental image of you driving round town with a sample in your car all whilst watching the clock. Bit like the amazing race

Sorry you had it tough x

yes I can LOL about it now too especially when I recall the nurse yelling at me "quick shove it between your boobs" sperm sample's have to be kept warm at body temp *apparently*

I am sorry you were stuffed about too they just expect that we can drop everything and go to them at any time that suits them - it is hard with work, distance to travel ect. It is really difficult not to get cranky at them sometimes.

AFM I ordered an ovulation predictor pk of the internet and it arrived yesterday which was around O time so I peed on one of them and got a positive (what are the odds) so DH and I are BDing like mad in between work (poor DH).
the chances are low but hey maybe the IVF cycles kick started something.

    Hi all!

34 (June), TTC unofficially for 2 years (ie. hoping for dumb luck) and properly only for the last year (trying to use OPKs - I'm obsessed with poas!). Started seeing FS in May as my cycles are VERY irregular (period 3-4 times a year - PCOS tests came back negative).

Metformin for 2-3 months and now Femara for first round of OI. Testing on Thursday to see if round one worked. Nervous as all heck and really hoping it's worked!

I'm starting to find it really hard to be happy for all those successfully falling pregnant around me.

Hi all - Thanks for the welcome! This is my first ever forum, so excuse me if I put a foot wrong.

Josee - good luck! Where are you in your cycle?

Starsoid - thank you! I'm obsessively symptom spotting and really need to stop!

Laurs - I really hope so... Sick of the BFNs! Even if it is, I'm considering this month a win as I've never been able to properly track ovulation before, so thoroughly excited just at the thought of having ovulated! Although I feel like a pincushion with all the blood tests!
