    Default Online/Facebook baby clothes store

    Hi ladies,

I have been thinking for a while now about setting up a Facebook/online baby clothes and accessories store, not so much for the money making side, more like a hobby (who doesn't love shopping). I have researched suppliers and set up costs but just wondering if it would be worthwhile as there are so many out there.

In your opinion is this an over saturated market?

    Thanks in advance.

It is a bit over saturated.

personally I would only do it of you had a large friend/family base to start with or I had a particular product/brand that wasn't absolutely everywhere like some are.

that said, you could start with a small amount of stock and see how you go? You never know people might prefer to shop with you over others- that's where amazing customer service comes in to play

    good luck either way!

It always sounds like a good idea but it's an idea so many other people have had. I have my own fb page selling stuff I make and I've all but given up on it because there is that little interest. Unless you have something that really stands out from the crowd you will barely get noticed.

So far the online stores I have looked at aren't selling the items I would like to sell but not sure if its enough to make me stand out.
I'm sorry to hear about your troubles, wishing you the best.

Yes I think there are a million stores out there but it depends what you're selling. Last year there was this gorgeous lacey tutu dress on a few fb pages that me and all my mummy friends wanted for our DDs, I found it on SO many fb pages but it was all sold out so if you're selling a product everybody wants I think it'll work well good luck!
