I cannot believe you think indigo is common lol it is my all time favourite name ever and if I had my way this bub would be called that if a girl buuuutttt my stupid dp hates it lol! I work in childcare and have never ever met one but I've met tonnes of Indiana's, Indi's and India's. When I mention it to people they all hate it, which just makes me love it more haha damn you dp!!

As for suggestions all names I love are prob not out there enough..... I'm D.onella and my sister is d.aarah, mum likes unusual lol. My dd is Emilia and our girls pick is Lani. I love so many of the mentioned names on here!

I'm still stuck for a name lol. Dp doesn't like any of them. Ill get to pick at the end of the day but I don't want him to hate it. I've worked in childcare and have met several little girls called Indigo. I'm just not totally in love with it. It's still on my list though if she looks like an indigo when she is born.

My 7 yr old is an Astrid and I just asked her and no one has called her this. Its even worse, cause our surname can be made fun of in a very similar vein.
