Love the bump pictures. I would love a neat little bump - which I would have had if we'd been able to keep the last pregnancy as I was in great shape. I don't think I posted on this thread - went for scan at 6 weeks and no hb or mention of a fetal pole yet. So two weeks to wait to next one when they can confirm either way, but I have all you lovely ladies to keep me distracted in the meantime. Of course I've researched (Dr Google) and it can go either way at that point. Bright side - gestational sack and yolk sack measured well.
Fingers and toes are crossed Little Ted, sure there'll be a roaring heat beat in two weeks. Hope they go super quickly for you
I'm starting to worry about my scan now, it's on Monday and I'll be 7w4d, exactly the same time that I was having my scan after a big bleed with Grace...eek! The good news is I can feel the tiniest of bumps forming just above my pubic bone

Hope you're recovering well Miss V, go make that baby!

Thats great Jessy. I could feel (and see) the littlest of bumps at about 7 weeks. Hope the scan goes well.

eeek jesse! How awesome you can see/feel it. FX for your scan thinking back now, i think exhaustion was my first (and only) give away with Ds. fx!! I was tempted to get some FRER today with shopping, but held strong and left them there! Only a few more days and AF will either be here, or not. I know once i start testing, i will keep giving myself excuses as to why it wasnt positive but could be the next time i test (or pee?!), and become too obsessed with it, so aiming to not test.

Ohhh little ted, fx that because everything is measuring on date its just a bit early to see the HB. hopefully next scan there will be a racing heartbeat, and a bouncing bubba!

So very worried about my dh. He has been having panic attacks, firstly at night, then all night, now while at work. I really want him to speak to a doctor but he won't. He says he knows what the problem is, it's that he is under way to much stress at work. Like majorly stressed out, with his bosses telling him to just work harder. He doesn't talk much when he gets home, he zones out on the lounge in front of the tv, he got upset when DS bumped his head on the lounge. It's been like that on and off but this time it just seems so much worse. I try to give him cuddles, tell him that I love him, ask him if I can do anything, I just feel so helpless. We both know the signs of anxiety and depression so well, I had Pnd and he was there, he had depression before he met me. So scared. I just want my beautiful husband back. Why won't he just have a little chat with the doctor? For me and DS?

Trio - xxx. Are you able to call someone, or speak with your doctor about it? Just to help handle what you're going through and maybe give you some ideas about how you can help DH help himself.

Maybe some initiatives that specifically deal with male anxiety....what state do you live in? xxxxxxx

Hugs Trio. I've had anxiety & depression issues too & always refuse to go to the Dr. DH tells me he feels helpless when it happens. I'm just too stubborn to get help (with anything! ). I think you're doing the best thing by just being there for him & it's good that he knows he is suffering & what's causing it. Can he talk to his boss about the stress? or take some leave?

Crying my eyes out right now, thanks so much for your kindness, I was thinking of seeing the doctor, he was great with my Pnd.
I never wanted to see the doctor either, but I did it because dh wanted me too. Feel like I am failing him. But I do know I am going to do every thing I can.

I've also been dx with anxiety/depression and OCD issues - the smallest things can set you off and it is sooo frustrating not being able to turn your brain off - it goes haywire even construing its own "dramas" that 'may' happen! When the anxiety sets in, your body temp instantly rises and you start turning into a jittery mess trying to solve the issue as quickly as possible and all reason and perspective seem to take a slide. My DH is still trying to find ways to help me deal when having a panic attack, other than telling me to stop! Your doctor may refer you onto someone who can give you some tips on how to help your DH at these points.

There are also online courses that your DH can do that give strategies and exercises for handling the anxiety/depression. Are you able to pinpoint when it began? I found there was a particular thing that happened that set mine off.

    Big hugs x
