LoCo - So sorry for your loss.

So, a question. How are the full time working mums among us managing all of this? It is day 1 and I already feel overwhelmed and think I have bitten off more than I can chew, committing to all of the exercise.

I work from 8am - 4:30 and my breaks just aren't usable - 15mins and 30 mins set breaks. And I have the car so I have to do the drop off/pick up for daycare.

I am thinking that I will head to a body pump class tomorrow night. I hate classes - I always feel like a fat loser with no friends. Guess I'll just have to suck it up and go along to get un-fat. *sigh*

No way!!! No one would be thinking that. I always go to classes on my own. I think a lot of people do (not everyone). You'll be right just join in

Full time working mum this would be hard. You are not a fat loser. When I did those classes once upon a time I didn't notice anyone. You'll find ppl are to caught up in themselves:thumbup:

I work full time but I'm very lucky my DH picks DS up from daycare and cooks for him and DS. I'm trying to be as organised as I can, I've been getting my food ready the night before. I'm using an app to track my calories. I do personal training sessions Monday and Wednesday so the other days I will do the workouts videos and my DH is going to do them with me to help keep me motivated.

Good luck today ladies, will check in later to see how everyone is going.

I'd normally work 4 days a week (just off sick ATM). I just find organisation is the key. I move in a week so I'll be joining a gym in my new town (which is where I work). I'm joining one with childcare as I'm a single mummy so have no one to watch my boys. So (from past experience) I just set that time as a routine and lock into it. My mum used to watch the boys for me (but can't when I move) so I could get out and run. So many times I didn't want to but I strapped my shoes on anyway and felt better for it. It has a flow on affect of wanting to eat well too.

I find I have to schedule exercise like an appointment or it's easy to just skip it.

I also prep food in advance. It really helped me lose the initial 25kg. My food is always ready for the next day and I have freezer options for when I'm slack and don't feel like cooking.
