    Purple is as high maintenance as red and (assuming your natural colour is light) black can be too due to the regrowth. There is nothing worse than black hair with light regrowth.

    I think deep red as well. But the purple would look just as nice
    You can also get a red/purple color that wouldn't be as dark as just purple.

    I love bright red and purple for myself (just dyed mine bright red after not doing whilst pregnant.) I prefer it over black as you can get away with regrowth for longer

    What about a lovely warm chocolate brown?

    This is the one I use, kinda reddish chocolate brown. I reckon this one would suit you.

    I have a purple in my hair atm and love it as its a nice change. Its not normally a colour i would choose but wanted a change and its really nice.
