Default Could it be a false positive?

When is it ok to test, I ovulated 14 days ago but had my last support of ovidrel 6 days ago, I'm due to have my preg test at the clinic on Monday, I did a home test and it came up positive but am wondering if there is still hcg in my system from the support 6 days ago? Could this be a false positive?

wish you all lots of luck xxx

    Hello!
How did you end up going with the test?
I have a bit of a silly question you might be able to help me with.
Is it the drugs or the trigger shot that sometimes give false positives in home pregnancy tests?
I'm about to start IUI with nothing but a trigger shot and I know people say don't test early because some of the follicle drugs give wrong readings.
Does that seem right or is that just the trigger shot giving wrong HCG levels?
I basically want to know if I can home test or not lol
