    My DP results were:
    Volume: 5.5ml
    Total motility: 31%
    Progressive motility: 21%
    Morphology: 8% (Normal Forms)

DP doesn't take any Multivitamins etc yet, but I might look in to some of those listed.

Hi Oni, what sort of vitamins will your dp take? We just had our docs appt for all the testing in the world to be done on us. So hopefully we can get some answers and get this whole thing started at our fs appt next week. Im actually getting really excited about this whole ttc - i think because dp is more into it now whereas last time when we found out the news of his not so good swimmers he (we both did) sort of hid away from the whole ttc and thought it would never happen to us.
We had a chuckle to ourselves in the waiting room that it seemed silly to go to the doctors about something that was/is suppose to happen naturally...man it sucks!!! But bring on lots of baby dancing and our bfp's.
Will let you know our results at end of month...fingers crossed its all good.

    Hi karissa~

DP and i have been trying on and off for about 4-5 years. We will go through stages where we try really hard to concieve and chart and calculate and stress... then we give up, try to enjoy life and hope that by not trying we succed =__= so far no luck. if we havent succeded by the end of this year we will look into further testing and such but at this time we're trying to concieve without aid :/

My OH was borderline for morphology (3% good form). Added to this (unknown to us at the time when TTC) I only have one tube/ovary. It took us 7 cycles to get a BFP (who is now a gorgeous 5 month old boy!). I am still not sure if we just had incredibly good luck, or if anything we did helped.

Our BFP happened after OH had been away, so no BDing for a week - wonder if this meant more "good" sperm? Obviously we were charting & had our timing spot on too.

    Good luck. Miracles do happen!

Yes, well we have been the same and feel as though it is never going to happen - this whole ttc is a very depressing journey for us. I just wish we knew what was wrong. I I think the ivf road is for us..."***** it" (excuse my french, but god its frustrating! )

My dh had very poor morphology. I have extremely low egg reserve. We were given a 1% chance of conceiving naturally. We went to a Naturopath who is a fertility specialist. DH was put on a tonic and a male fertility blend. I was put on medication for my thyroid and was prescribed clomid. We got our bfp 1 year after starting TTC and it was cycle 3 of clomid. Our bfp is a gorgeous 8 month old girl

Hi when ttc our first, dh had very low morphology (not sure of number) and also low motility. We were on the verge of ivf but ended up falling pregnant naturally in the end. I also have fibroids and endometriosis so we had complications from both sides.

What you may not know is that sperm is continually being produced, unlike eggs in women. Sperm is being manufactured constantly, with about a 3 month changeover time. This means that any new sperm will be ready in about 3 months - so healthy choices your partner makes now will show a change in his sperm quality in 3 months' time. What we did to improve dh's sperm was:

    - healthy eating and lifestyle
    - daily ejaculation leading up to and whilst ttc (to encourage sperm production and production in more quantity)
    - switch from jocks to boxer shorts
    - keep away from hot baths or showers
    - avoid having dh sitting for lengthy periods of time
    - get your partner to eat almonds and bananas if you can these can help develop healthy sperm
